THE « PIONNIER DE L’ŒNOTOURISME » PRICE FOR JEAN-MICHEL CAZES | 29/01/2010
On 27 January 2010, Jean-Michel Cazes was presented with the “Pionnier de l’Œnotourisme” (Pioneer of Wine Tourism) prize by Hervé Novelli and Paul Dubrule, presented to the Cazes family for its long and continuous work in support of the tourism development of French winegrowing areas. The idea of a National Award for Wine Tourism, launched in 2009 by Paul Dubrule, President of the Supreme Council of Wine Tourism on the initiative of Michel Barnier, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries and Hervé Novelli, Secretary of State for Commerce, Handicrafts and Tourism resulted in a national competition which saw over 200 candidates compete.
